About Vox

The Voice of Cebu (VOX) is a premiere chamber choir composed of young professionals and students in Cebu City. Bounded together by their common love for music and singing, the group performs various genres and specializes in contemporary a cappella.

From its 6-year existence, the group reaps special citations and top recognitions from various choral competitions around the metropolis. The group represented Region VII in National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines last Nov. 26, 2005, the very 1st college choir representative from the region.

The Voice of Cebu (VOX) continues to strive for musical excellence and world-class performance, discipline, sense of commitment and love for their work. Making good music through choral singing is the profundity of its existence. Along side with its passion for singing, the group continues to reach-out and touch to people’s lives through its music. As it strives for musical excellence and world-class performance, its pursuit of brilliance in choral music is through building a repertoire that can create a competent profile and spread the beauty of music with a soul and a heart.
